FREQUENTLY ASKED

WHAT ARE THE HOPE GLOBAL FORUMS?

The HOPE Global Forums are a community of events that serve as a call to action: to reimagine the global economy so the benefits and opportunities of free enterprise can be extended to everyone.

We accomplish this through a series of carefully curated conferences, events and policy programs designed to foster leadership around this critical issue.

Our Annual Meeting serves as our flagship event and is now the largest gathering of leaders in the world on behalf of empowering poor and underserved communities. Learn more about the Annual Meeting and
How To Attend.

HOPE Global Forums are an initiative of Operation HOPE, the global leader in providing financial dignity. Founded in 1992, Operation HOPE is the nation’s first nonprofit, financial services network for underserved communities.

WHAT IS OPERATION HOPE?

The mission of Operation HOPE is “silver rights” empowerment – uplifting individuals and communities by making free enterprise work for everyone. We accomplish this through our work on the ground shifting the economic landscape for youth, adults and families.

Operation HOPE was founded in Los Angeles in 1992 out of the ashes of the Rodney King riots and has become the global leader in providing financial dignity to underserved populations.

Through our work, we convert check-cashing customers into bank customers, renters into homeowners, small business dreamers into small business owners and minimum wage workers into living wage workers. Learn more about Operation HOPE.

ARE THERE ANY POLITICAL AFFILIATIONS?

HOPE Global Forums are a nonpartisan initiative of Operation HOPE. Our purpose is to gather the most extraordinary thought leaders from across disciplines to reimagine our global economy to work for everyone.

Representatives from government, academia, business, finance, NGO’s, start-ups, technology and philanthropy are among the various sectors represented – all seeking to use free enterprise as a means to empower undeserved communities around the world
