William B. Smayda III

Will Smayda leads Bank of America’s financial center channel, a network of approximately 3,600 financial centers providing personalized financial solutions, valuable rewards and in-person advice and guidance to U.S. consumers.

In this role, Will leads a team of banking professionals who deliver an industry-leading client experience and ensure our financial solutions are aligned to clients’ banking, borrowing and investing needs and priorities. His team works across all businesses in each market to grow market share.

Will played an active role in the expansion of our financial center network to 10 new markets since 2014 and leads our continued expansion.

Will joined the company in 2000 and has held leadership roles across consumer and wealth management businesses. As executive sponsor for the Arkansas and Utah markets, he provides counsel to market presidents and leadership teams in their integration, philanthropic and engagement activities.

Will is active in the community, serving as executive sponsor of the LGBTQ+ Pride Employee Network in North Texas. In addition, he serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Collin County, a nonprofit organization that provides more than 15,000 children and teenagers with a safe place to learn and grow in the vulnerable hours between school and home.

Will graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in finance.
