Host, Black Tech, Green Money
Black Tech Green Money presents the stories of successful Black technologists and business people, as well as actionable advice and wealth-building strategies from a Black perspective. Will Lucas is the founder and CEO at A William Lucas Company (AWLCo) which is home to several media and technology-related companies including Creadio: a brand marketing technology agency servicing nationally recognized brands since 2007. He’s also the curator for TEDxToledo. Will hosts the OF10podcast which highlights prominent minorities in technology startups including founders, engineers, and managers from Pinterest, Dropbox, Snapchat, Facebook, and others. The podcast has been featured in iTunes. He is also the Brand Manager for Afrotech.com, the largest Black tech conference and digital platform in the world. Lucas was named to the University of Toledo Board of Trustees by Governor John Kasich in February 2016. The governor also appointed Will to the Ohio Casino Control Commission in 2013 – to which he was re-appointed for a second four-year term in 2017, and the Ohio Martin Luther King Jr. Commission, which he currently serves as Chairman, in 2014. In 2019, Will was appointed to InnovateOhio Executive Advisory Board by Ohio Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted. He was appointed Co-Chair of President Obama’s Ohio Small Business Committee in 2012.
