Tom Fishman
CEO of Builders
Tom Fishman is the CEO of Builders, is a nonpartisan nonprofit equipping citizens to overcome toxic polarization and solve our toughest problems. Before leading Builders, Tom spent 15 years building and scaling businesses, audiences, and highly engaged communities at the intersection of media and technology. He led social and digital strategy at MTV, growing their global digital community to 250 million, after which he led product strategy for social video on Facebook’s Global Creative team. He then joined the interactive video technology company Eko as the general manager, bringing first-of-their-kind shoppable video experiences to market. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics from the University of Chicago and Columbia University.
