Sunil is an Innovation and strategy focused executive with more than two decades of leadership experience in delivering product excellence, scaling revenue and managing operations for high growth Fintech and Software companies.

In his current role as COO at LendUp, Sunil leads overall Strategy, Product, Growth-Revenue and Customer Operations for the Oakland based mission driven fintech company.

Prior to LendUp, he was an executive at Marqeta, where he built product operations organization, created strategic partnerships with multiple issuing banks and payment networks, and launched several marquee customers such as Alipay, Kabbage, Square, and Instacart doubling revenue YoY.

Sunil has also led strategy and product management for the financial services business at Blackhawk Network (HAWK). While at Blackhawk he built the core processing platform and launched numerous consumer financial services and mobile banking products scaling the business to billions of dollars in transaction volume and profitability.
