Jason Kelly is the Chief Correspondent for Bloomberg Originals as well as the co-creator, executive producer and host of the docuseries “Power Players” and “Next in Sports,” exploring the intersection of business, sports and culture through intimate stories of athletes, owners, executives and entrepreneurs as well as fast-growing sports from Pickleball to Formula 1. He’s also the co-host, with former MLB All-Star Alex Rodriguez of “The Deal,” a podcast and TV show premiering in early 2024. Across more than two decades at Bloomberg, he’s served as the New York bureau chief, executive editor of Bloomberg Television and host of “Bloomberg Businessweek” on radio and TV. He’s the author of two books, “The New Tycoons,” about the global private equity industry, and “Sweat Equity,” an inside look at the business of fitness. A graduate of Georgetown University, Jason started his journalism career in Atlanta with the Journal-Constitution and the Atlanta Business Chronicle. He edited a start-up magazine on the business of technology before joining Bloomberg’s Atlanta bureau in 2002. Jason lives with his family in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
