Erica Acie is Head of Retail Originations for Truist Financial Corporation. Originations is responsible for sourcing clients in need of Mortgage solutions, as well as originating high quality loans that meet the financial needs of Truist clients and the Truist Homeownership Equity Program, that is aligned with Truist’s purpose to inspire and build better lives and communities.

In her previous role as Head of Fulfillment Operations and Post Closing for Truist, she oversaw retail and operational financial priorities of the mortgage organization. Acie built and retained strong talent by developing and implementing strategies for talent acquisition, training, performance standards, and promoting employee engagement. She maintained collaborative working relationships, driving excellent client satisfaction ratings in an ever-changing digital environment.

She was named a 2023 Industry Titan from National Mortgage Professionals. With more than twenty seven years of experience in the mortgage industry, Acie has spent the last twenty years having strategic oversight of Mortgage Operations including Consumer Direct, Retail Production, Wealth, and Home Equity Lending with prominent industry competitors.

Acie currently holds her green belt in Six Sigma, Lean Management certification, bachelor degree in Business Administration and an MBA with a specialization in Organizational Leadership from Ashford University. She is also the author of the book titled, “We Got This! A Guide to Securing Your Greatest Future.”

Acie currently resides in Georgia with her husband and is a proud mother of two young men.
