Dawn Stargell Moore

Dean of Campus and University Partnerships, DeVry University

Dawn Stargell Moore serves as the Dean of Campus and University Partnerships, at DeVry University, and has been entrusted to lead growth and retention initiatives for the locations in Atlanta. Her passion for student success has committed her to upholding DeVry University’s mission to foster student learning through high-quality, career-oriented degree programs and supporting students to meet the ultimate goal, graduation. One her most exciting accomplishments is the ongoing leadership and support of the DeVry Advantage Academy. Through this initiative, high school students are able to earn an Associate Degree or Certificate credentials while earning their high school diploma.

Prior to DeVry, Dawn has over two decades of strategic leadership experience in leading customer sales and service call centers with AT&T and Harland Clarke, Inc. It was as a working professional that she completed her Bachelor of Science in Management, Master of Business Administration, both from Shorter University and most recently her Master Certificate in Big Data Analytics from Keller Graduate School of Management and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Certificate from the University of South Florida.

Dawn enjoys making a difference in the lives of others and volunteers her time with Women in Technology, lending her knowledge and guidance to teens and young adults pursuing STEAM career paths and is a mentor of their WIT Campus and Single Mother’s Mentoring Program. She also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the 7 Cords Foundation in addition to Executive Leadership roles for the Computer Information Systems, Business and Management Advisory Boards of institutions within the Technical College System of Georgia. Dawn is also an active member of the Education, Economic Development and Diversity and Inclusion Committees with various Chambers of Commerce. She is also a certified Executive, Career and Life Coach, Coach Trainer and speaker. Dawn has two sons and loves helping others realize purpose.
