Arijit Roy

Strategy, Deposits, Small Business Banking Lead, Truist

Arijit Roy leads Strategy, Deposits, Small Business Banking, and Analytics and is a member of the senior leadership team for the Retail Community Bank. He helped formulate the Retail Bank’s strategy to drive household growth with a particular focus on distinct segments, and a clear value proposition for each segment. He also has day to day responsibility over Deposit products (savings, checking, money markets, CDs), and Small Business Banking, and is helping drive growth through a variety of in-house initiatives and partnerships.

Arijit joined Truist in September 2019. Prior to Truist, Arijit has held numerous leadership roles in consumer banking at Discover Financial Services. Before Discover, Arijit was an Associate Partner with McKinsey and Co, serving financial service clients. He has also held positions at H&R Block, and Sprint (now T-Mobile). Arijit has an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a BE in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in India.
