Philip D. Grant is the Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of 923A Coins & Designs, a veteran-owned creative manufacturing brand that produces couture-level challenge coins and memorabilia for the U.S. military, major corporations, and civic organizations.

A retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Three with 21 years of service as a 923A Senior Petroleum Systems Technician, Grant brings the same discipline and foresight that powered his military career into every facet of entrepreneurship. From launching his first company while stationed overseas to leading 923A Coins & Designs to national recognition, his journey embodies the resilience and innovation that define America’s small-business spirit.

His patented NCO Backbone Coin Assembly, multiple trademarks, and collaborations with the U.S. Army, Walmart, Amazon, and PepsiCo exemplify his drive to merge creativity with service.

At the HOPE Global Forum, Philip shares his belief that “the paperwork makes the paper work” — that sustainable success depends on discipline, documentation, and doing right by people.
