SVP Diverse Customer Growth Leader Consumer, Small & Business Banking, Wells Fargo

Robert “Roby” Schapira is the Diverse Customer Growth Leader for Consumer, Small & Business Banking at Wells Fargo. In this role, Roby leads a team that builds strategy and guides the execution of initiatives that support Wells Fargo’s efforts to positively impact diverse customers – consumers, small business and business banking. His team’s goal is to grow our diverse customer base by removing barriers to full financial inclusion, welcoming our customers in/through the communities they choose, support broader access to capital, and share the impact of Wells Fargo’s efforts.

A 26-year Wells Fargo veteran, Roby began his career at Wells Fargo as a part-time teller in 1998. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. He is the co-chair of the Corporate Advisory Council for the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce and a Board member of the GSBA, Washington’s LGBTQ+ chamber.

Roby is an accomplished speaker and has provided insight on small business topics for national and local media outlets, nonprofit organizations, and financial industry forums.
