Vera Hinojosa
Vice President, Netspend
Vera Natasha Hinojosa is passionate about creating organizational change that sticks, and she has found this at the intersection of efficient processes and purpose-driven work. Currently, as a Vice President at financial services provider, Netspend, Vera leads the Netspend flagship social impact program, Community Connect which last year raised nearly $400,00 for scholarships and provided Netspend’s employees an opportunity to walk in their customer’s shoes and give back to the community. She recently co-led a SXSW session on this topic, and she is excited about integrating what she learned during her research.
Vera is a certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and she is a double graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She holds a BBA in Finance and a Master’s degree in Human Dimensions of Organizations, a program focused on Human-centered organizational change, Leadership and Innovation. For her Master’s thesis, Vera studied the effects of meaning and purpose on employee happiness and productivity, and she has enjoyed the subsequent search for daily application of these concepts.
