Shannah Stephens

SVP, Community Banking Strategy Executive

Shannah Stephens is the Community Banking Executive for Bank of America, responsible for developing strategies and integrated programs to empower economic mobility for clients and small businesses. Much of the efforts revolve around low- and moderate-income clients.

Shannah has held various positions in marketing, analytics, online sales, and product management. Prior to joining Bank of America, she was with First Citizens Bank. Her strategic marketing at First Citizens was recognized when she was published by the American Bankers Association.

Shannah received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a master’s degree in spatial information systems and statistics from North Carolina State University.

Shannah speaks frequently on the topic of financial health. She has been featured on The Everygirl Podcast, Yahoo Finance, and Bloomberg Black Business Beat. She has been interviewed by Time Magazine and The Wall Street Journal.

Shannah is a member of LEAD for Women, the Black Professional Group (BPG), and the Black Executive Leadership Council (BELC). She is a member of the Katy Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and serves on the Board of Directors for the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston.

Shannah resides in Katy, TX with her husband and two dogs.
