Scott Whatley

As head of Morgan Stanley at Work, Scott Whatley leads the industry’s premier workplace benefits solutions business. In this role, Scott focuses on driving the strategic vision for Morgan Stanley’s workplace offering, positioning the firm to meet the evolving needs of businesses and their employees globally, and delivering best-in-class service to the largest equity plan solutions business in the world, serving over 6,000 public and private company clients.

With a rich background in equity compensation and business strategy, Scott previously served as Chief Revenue Officer and Head of Global Equity Solutions, where he led a suite of services that catered to more than 2,300 global corporate public clients, 1,000 global private clients, and over 6.5 million stock plan participants across 160 countries. Under his leadership, Morgan Stanley’s equity solutions reached a substantial market share, representing nearly 40% of the S&P 500 in the U.S. and 55% of the top 100 unicorn companies worldwide.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Scott was President of ETRADE Corporate Services, where he oversaw the delivery of innovative stock plan administration solutions to nearly 1,000 corporate clients.

Scott is actively engaged in his community, currently serving on the board of the Next Level Boys Academy. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Western Carolina University and has contributed to the CEPI Advisory and NASPP Advisory Boards.
