Philippe Bourguignon

Philippe Bourguignon has spent more than four decades shaping how people experience travel and hospitality. Known for his curiosity and forward-thinking approach, he has led some of the world’s most recognized brands while championing innovation and human connection across the industry.
He currently serves on the board of Positiv and as Chairman of the Forum Economique des banlieues. Philippe is also the co-founder of Le Shack, an urban oasis in Paris, and an active investor in Oneragtime, a European venture platform that connects startups, investors, and companies to drive progress through technology and collaboration.
From 2006 to 2024, Philippe was Vice Chairman of Revolution Places LLC and Co-Chairman of the Board of Exclusive Resorts, in addition to serving on the board of Mint House and advising several other Revolution portfolio companies. He also served as Chairman of Primonial, France’s largest wealth management company, from 2017 to 2022.
Earlier in his career, Philippe held numerous leadership and board positions across industries, including Zipcar, Miraval, Neiman Marcus, Canal+, Palais de Tokyo, Operation HOPE, and eBay, where he served for 11 years.
Between 2003 and 2004, he was Co-CEO of the World Economic Forum, and before that, Chairman and CEO of Club Med, where he led a major transformation of the company in 2000. He also served as Chairman and CEO of Euro Disney, following 14 years with the Accor Group, where he began his career and held several senior executive roles.
In 2005, Philippe published Hop!, a book exploring the paradoxes of the modern world and the French economy.
On a personal note, Philippe is married and the father of two children. A passionate yachtsman, he holds a record he set with Bruno Peyron in 1996 for crossing the English Channel.
