Nadia van de Walle

Nadia van de Walle is a Vice President on CSBB’s Diverse Customer Segments (DCS) team. She leads external partnerships, strategy, and thought leadership for the Banking Inclusion Initiative (BII). BII is Wells Fargo’s ongoing enterprise-wide commitment to better banking low-income consumers. Her responsibilities include managing consumer awareness campaigns and financial education initiatives, advising line of business partners on strategies and product solutions for engaging low-income and diverse consumers, and partnering with fin techs and nonprofits on financial inclusion and wealth building strategies.
With 15+ years of financial services, Nadia is driven by interests in emerging technology for more impactful and scalable financial services. Previously, she worked for the Financial Health Network (FHN), where she served as Senior Director, leading the Innovation team focused on investing in fin techs and consulting with banks on their financial health strategies. Earlier in her career, she led customer research and strategy projects in banking and mobile money in the US and Africa.
Nadia has an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University in Economics and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Political Science.
