Lisa Ellis

Lisa Ellis currently serves as Senior Vice President and Small Business Direct Advisor Team Lead at Truist Financial Corporation. In this capacity, she leads a virtual Small Business Advisor team serving Truist’s full geographic footprint, focusing on performance excellence, credit integrity, advisory leadership, and the delivery of Truist’s value proposition of Ease, Expertise and Care.

Since October 2024, Lisa has driven enhanced operational discipline, advisor readiness, and portfolio performance across multiple markets. She has supported the integration of new advisors into the model and strengthened alignment across the virtual small business platform. Through this work, she equips her team to deliver consistent, high-quality guidance and financing solutions that help small business owners grow with confidence. She partners closely with leaders across Risk, Fulfillment, Lending Process, Business Connect, and IRM to align performance and process to support small business growth.

With more than 30 years of experience in Retail and Small Business, Lisa is known for developing high-performing teams and leading with clarity, care, and purpose. Her background includes leadership roles as an Area Leader, Region Execution Leader, and Banking Strategy Consultant, giving her a comprehensive understanding of both teammate and client needs within the small business space. A dedicated community champion, Lisa brings her leadership into action through volunteer service and international outreach. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, outdoor travel, and drawing inspiration from her three sons and three grandchildren.

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership from Rhode Island College.
