Jessica Mitsch

Executive Director, Growth and Strategic Partnerships

Based in Raleigh, Jessica began her career at Red Hat’s headquarters. She held several roles on the company’s Talent Acquisition and Global Mobility teams, which were formative in shaping her understanding of how tech talent training and economic development initiatives intersect.
Jessica joined The Iron Yard in 2014 as the founding campus director of the Durham campus. Her success in launching and growing the campus led her to lead The Iron Yard’s campus operations team as Director of Global Campus Operations for the past year. She now serves as The Iron Yard’s Executive Director of the Code School where she focuses on national partnerships, diversity and inclusion efforts, the growing alumni network, and supporting the student and staff experience.
