
Tina Oddo
SVP, Consumer & Small Business Banking, Truist
Tina Oddo is Senior Vice President, Director of Small Business Administration, Performance & Execution at Truist. In this role she is responsible for all administrative functions supporting the Head of Truist Small Business Banking, Integrated Relationship Management strategies for the Small Business segment, and the Small Business client experience. She also serves Small Business on all integration activities including client delivery channels, product, systems platforms, teammate enablement and readiness as well as multi-generational go-to small business market strategies.
Mrs. Oddo joined Truist in April 2014 as the Resource Manager for Branch Banking where she was responsible for strategic resource management, which includes effective management of staffing, scheduling, salary expenses, and retention of the company’s branch teammates. Tina transitioned into the Region Executive Role in January 2016. In this role, she was responsible for leading ~100 branches in the Georgia Region. In May of 2017, Tina was asked to take on a leadership role in Client Contact Center channel. As the Omni Sales Leader, she was responsible for the overall performance of the company’s Outbound and Inbound Sales and Universal Chat teams, as well as client contact center sales enablement. Tina moved into the Head of Branch Onboarding role in 2019. As the Head of Branch Onboarding Tina was responsible for leading the Community Branch Banking teammate onboarding strategy and related onboarding initiatives. In 2020, Tina served as the retail and small business banking workflow-coordinator for the Paycheck Protection Program, supporting over 4,000 teammates throughout the program which included market workflow coordination of underwriting assignments, as well as developing processes and procedures for client escalations. A multi-year Truist Performance Award nominee and 2016 winner, Tina moved into her current role in July of 2022.
A 33-year veteran of the financial services industry; she previously was Senior Vice President, Resource Management Group Operations Manager for Bank of America. In prior roles over a 23 year career with Bank of America and MBNA (acquired by Bank of America in 2006), Tina worked in multiple channels ranging from Retail Banking where she was a Consumer Market Manager responsible for sales, service and operations for South Carolina’s Coastal Market to Card Services where she served as a Teleservices Contact Center Site Lead, responsible for leading a ~300 person contact center performing inbound and outbound new account acquisition, retention, and customer assistance. She was a multi-year recipient of Bank of America’s Retail Banking & Distribution Top Performer award, Retail Banking & Distribution Associate Engagement and Inclusion Council Leader and a Global Diversity and Inclusion award nominee.
Tina is a proud wife of a 22-year USAF Veteran and active-duty USAF mother. Tina and her husband, Tim reside in Tega Cay, SC and have two grown children, Taylor (Bryan) and Peyton. Outside of Truist, Tim and Tina enjoy traveling, boating and spending time with their children and grandchildren, Colt and Josie.
