Rochelle Buford-Williams

Rochelle Buford-Williams is a Vice President and Risk Portfolio Manager at Bank of the West, BNP Paribas Group. Her expertise spans different business lines, equipment types and specialty programs. With over 25 years of experience in credit, leasing and banking she is an experienced leader and negotiator. Rochelle specializes in building positive relationships with clients and customers. She works with the Banks’ Diversity & Inclusion program as the Chairperson of the African American Resource Group. Rochelle believes in giving back to the community. For over 20 years, she’s volunteered with various non-profits in her community for low income housing and at Bank of the West. In conjunction with the Operation Hope partnership, she teaches financial literacy to school children in grades K-12 and is currently working to make credit money management workshops accessible to all bank employees. She is a political activist. She’s lobbied Congress and worked to increase voter registration. She is a lifetime member of the National Association Advancement Colored People (NAACP) and the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW). Rochelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communications from Holy Names University. She is married with three grown children and resides in Oakland, California.
