Barry T. Hirsch

Professor of Economics, George State University

Barry Hirsch is Professor of Economics and the W.J. Usery Chair of the American Workplace in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. His research examines wage and employment determination in U.S. labor markets with a focus on wage determination, survey nonresponse and imputation, unions, discrimination, and area wage and employment differentials. Hirsch is an IZA Research Fellow, past president of the Southern Economic Association, and on editorial boards at several journals.
