COMMITMENTS TO HOPE

Commitments to HOPE are cross-sector partnerships that expand the work of Operation HOPE and support our Uplift America 2020 goals. Commitments are specific and measurable and may involve financial or non-monetary resources.

 

A Founding Partner of the HOPE Global Forums, Wells Fargo announced that Operation HOPE was designated as a prestigious Signature National Partner. Wells Fargo will provide a major commitment to the HOPE Global Forums and Operation HOPE’s nationwide efforts supporting affordable housing, small business creation and youth entrepreneurs.

A major commitment towards initiatives focused on providing financial dignity and empowerment to women and girls, primarily in the Southeastern U.S. This multi-year commitment will utilize financial education and entrepreneurial training to jump-start a new movement of empowered women and girls.

Whole Foods will open HOPE Inside financial services centers in two of its locations. These HOPE Inside centers will provide no-cost financial education, small business and entrepreneurial training, credit score and home ownership counseling.

A four-year partnership with Operation HOPE, committed to establish financial education and counseling services for MetaBank’s cardholders. Operation HOPE will deliver financial education, credit counseling and money management guidance to the bank’s nationwide network of cardholders. READ MORE

Creation of a HOPE Inside financial services branch housed inside the Atlanta Police Department headquarters. A first of it’s kind partnership between the Department, the Atlanta Police Foundation, SunTrust Banks and Operation HOPE, this initiative will provide APD employees with a wide array of no-cost financial services, education and counseling. READ MORE

SBA Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet highlighted the renewal of the SBA’s Strategic Alliance with Operation HOPE to promote and support the development of youth and adult entrepreneurs. The Alliance is intended to spur economic development through small business growth and to improve entrepreneurial education that advances access to capital, technical assistance and procurement opportunities.

MBDA National Director Alejandra Y. Castillo announced the agency’s Memorandum of Understanding with Operation HOPE. The agreement is designed to provide U.S minority business enterprises with greater opportunities to access technical and financial resources.

Macon-Bibb County residents will be able to get free financial counseling as a result of their partnership with Operation HOPE. County leaders committed Macon-Bibb to join Operation HOPE’s network of 700 Credit Score Communities, creating a new class of economic stakeholders by qualifying residents for car loans, mortgages, better interest rates and even higher paying jobs.
